Deception Point 9

Marjorie Tench sets up a meeting with William Pickering. The gang realizes that a creatur the size of the fossils could have lived underwater. Gabrielle Ashe finds where Chris Harper is and prepares to interrogate him. She stealthily sneaks up to his office and corners him. The group figures out that the "meteorite" could have recieved its fusion crust from a newly developed rocket engine. Gabrielle makes false accusations at Chris Harper in order to get him to admit that he lied about PODS. He falls for it and tells her everything. The Delta team gets a new mission and it is: to kill William Pickering at the rendevouz spot (obviously Marjorie Tench and Ekstrom want him dead). The only issue left to resolve to prove the meteor is a fake is the chondrules, and Michael gets a call from one of his fellow scientists saying that there was an error in his documentary. They decide to go straight to his ship (the goya)to find out if it has anything to do with chondrules. The delta force team kills William Pickering by shooting missiles used by terrorists at his car. They make it to the Goya nad find out that chondrules can be replicated underwater. They now have all the evidence needed to disprove the meteorite. Gabrielle Ashe breaks into senator Sexton's office looking for information. Rachel tries to call Pickering but delta force tracks her and heads for her coordinates.
